Job summary

Jobtailor in Dallas seeks an actuarial intern to assist with valuations, pension data analysis, and government reporting. You will gain exposure to Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and post-retirement welfare plans while supporting client services and project delivery.

The role requires a quantitative degree with solid communication skills and the ability to work independently in a team. Graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028 is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a relevant quantitative major.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Currently a college student, ideally sophomore or higher, with strong quantitative emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in training sessions.
• Perform actuarial valuations and prepare valuation reports.
• Analyze and reconcile pension plan participant data.
• Prepare government reporting forms and annual employee benefit statements.
• Support special projects and collaborate to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong client delivery orientation.
