Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3.2/4.0 GPA.
• 4–6 years of experience in sales or other client-facing roles with measurable goals.
• Strong business acumen and relationship-building mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with a team while driving personal goals.
• Relational and consultative approach to clients and candidates.
• Curiosity, integrity, fortitude, and willingness to grow professionally.
• Comfort navigating difficult conversations professionally and compassionately.
• Polished professional correspondence across channels.
• Ability to balance high-impact results with daily operational demands.
• Insurance industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit actuarial professionals daily.
• Serve as a strategic recruiter and advisor, understanding candidates' career goals and clients' hiring needs.
• Explain DW Simpson’s mission, processes, and expectations to candidates and clients.
• Cultivate long-term client partnerships and secure new actuarial roles.
• Market candidates to clients and drive opportunities with enthusiasm.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including compensation negotiations.
• Provide timely updates to candidates and clients.
• Attend industry actuarial meetings and alliance events.
• Support DW Simpson’s advertising efforts via social media.
• Keep up with industry trends and maintain detailed records in the ATS.
