Job summary

Protective Life Corporation invites ambitious students to join its Actuarial Summer Internship Program in its corporate office in Birmingham, AL. The program runs May 31st–July 30th, 2027, for nine weeks, offering hands-on actuarial experience, mentoring, and leadership exposure.

Interns will work on real business challenges, collaborate with actuaries and leaders, and gain professional development, networking, and housing accommodations where needed.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, C++, or similar coding languages preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Interns will work on projects aligned with Actuarial team's goals.
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop and execute solutions to real problems.
• Participate in professional development trainings and networking events.
