Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Completion of 1-3 Society of Actuaries exams.
• Strong spreadsheet and database skills; ability to learn R and SQL; good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret complex charts and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Develops summaries of data to support quarterly loss experience analyses.
• Supports experience analysis to improve pricing, reserve accuracy, and efficiency.
• Writes SQL queries and reports to support analyses.
• Provides ad hoc support to Pricing, Claims and Underwriting; pursues ongoing actuarial exams.
