Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or related field.
• 10+ years of decision support, financial analysis, or actuarial experience preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Strong database (SAS or Access) experience preferred.
• Managed Care or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for pricing, forecasting, month-end close activities and performance monitoring and explanations; develop key processes and assumptions.
• Lead a team of actuaries ensuring compliance with Actuarial Standards of Practice and training.
• Develop strategy and guide teams in multiple internal statistical models to support goals; bid pricing models, financial projections, contract modeling, ad hoc projects.
• Ensure internal stakeholders are held accountable for actuarial function requests supporting key assumptions.
• Lead opportunities across functions where actuarial can drive corporate goals.
• Oversee mentorship programs for analysts.
