Qualifications

• 7+ years actuarial experience or equivalent education/experience.
• ASA and MAAA designations.
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Hires, onboards, trains, mentors, manages and provides technical guidance to actuarial staff.
• Reviews reporting prepared by actuary team to assure methodological consistency.
• Oversees the creation of actuarial opinions and regulatory reporting.
• Designs actuarial studies related to medical care costs and trends.
• Interprets results and recommends solutions to identified issues.
• Supports ad-hoc projects related to rate filings, new business development, budgeting and acquisitions.
• Stays abreast of actuarial professional developments and industry trends.
