Job summary

WTW's US life insurance consulting team is seeking a Manager in the US to support high-performing client delivery across engagements including financial modeling, reporting, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory issues, and product development.

The role offers exposure to life insurance operations and opportunities for upward mobility; strong communication and mentoring abilities are essential. Preferred locations include St. Louis, MO, among others in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, consulting, or financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory capital regimes.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to convey findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience with life insurance and/or annuity product design and pricing.
• Willingness to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage workstreams to meet engagement and budget objectives.
• Strengthen client relationships by delivering high-quality work and communicating regulatory updates.
• Share expertise to drive team growth and business development.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior staff; support their career advancement.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure high-quality work conforming to WTW standards.
• Support client communications and meetings with written or verbal updates.
• Contribute to intellectual capital via research, publications, and industry events.
• Support revenue growth by meeting billable hours and assisting in proposals.
