Job summary

Equitable is seeking motivated and curious Summer 2027 Actuarial Interns to join our team in Charlotte or New York. You’ll work with experienced actuaries on pricing, valuation, modeling, financial reporting, and risk management projects, gaining hands-on exposure and mentorship.

This 10-week program starts in early June 2027, offering a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days in the office and an hourly rate of $26.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (rising senior preferred).
• Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated interest in actuarial science, insurance, or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial projects involving valuation, financial reporting, pricing, modeling, and risk management.
• Analyze data and identify trends that help inform business decisions.
• Assist with actuarial evaluations, forecasting, and model development.
• Create reports, presentations, and analyses for business partners and leadership.
• Collaborate with actuaries and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
• Participate in networking, professional development, and Finance Speaker Series events.
• Complete a capstone project and present findings and recommendations to business leaders.
