Job summary

American Modern, a Munich Re subsidiary, invites motivated students pursuing Actuarial Science, Math, or related fields to join its actuarial internship in Amelia, Ohio. You will work alongside professional analysts on real datasets, manage data preparation, and contribute to core analyses and indications during a 40-hour workweek, with in-office days 40–50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Actuarial Science, Math or related field.
• Must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Rising junior or senior at time of internship.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the summer internship.
• Hybrid environment with ~40–50% in Amelia, Ohio office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects.
