Your Opportunity

Work alongside full-time actuarial analysts and contribute to the same core activities that support actuarial decision making. This role is ideal for a student ready to connect classroom learning with real data, analysis, and indications.

What You'll Do
  • Clean and prepare data for actuarial analysis.
  • Support standard actuarial analyses and indications.
  • Complete Excel-based analytical work.
  • Apply coding skills, where helpful, to improve or support analysis.
What You'll Bring
  • Must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical foundation.
  • Interest in learning through hands-on actuarial work.
  • Coding experience in any language is helpful but not required; prior advanced Excel experience is not required.

Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree at an accredited college or university with a focus of Actuarial Science, Math or related. *Must have passed one actuarial exam
  • Rising Junior or Senior at the time of the internship
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the summer internship program
  • Able to work in a hybrid environment, including approximately 40-50% of the time in our Amelia, Ohio office
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the office as required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects
