American Modern Insurance Group in Amelia, Ohio is offering an Actuarial Intern program for students pursuing Actuarial Science, Math or related fields. You’ll work with actuarial analysts on real data, gain exposure to actuarial methods, and contribute to ongoing projects.

The program runs full-time (40 hours/week) with a hybrid schedule, including 40–50% in the office, plus mentorship and networking opportunities with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s in Actuarial Science, Math or related field.
• Must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) over summer.
• Hybrid work environment with ~40-50% in Amelia, OH office.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare data for actuarial analysis.
• Support standard actuarial analyses and indications.
• Complete Excel-based analytical work.
• Apply coding skills to improve analysis where helpful.
