Job summary

The internship runs from June 7 to August 13, with on-site work four days a week and opportunities for full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field.
• Sitting for actuarial exam; completion preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL/R/Python/Power BI a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Onsite in office 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist actuarial analyses supporting pricing initiatives.
• Gather, validate, and analyze large data sets using actuarial techniques.
• Support development and maintenance of actuarial models, reports, and dashboards.
• Prepare summaries, presentations, and recommendations from analyses.
• Assist in evaluating trends related to claims, premium, exposure, and profitability.
• Participate in data quality reviews and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, claims and other partners for decision-making.
• Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions and risks.
• Complete special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
