Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation offers a ten-week paid internship in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX, giving hands-on experience in modeling, data gathering, and reporting for actuarial and finance teams.

You will work with management and actuarial students, develop databases, produce reports, and learn HIPAA, diversity principles, and corporate integrity policies while delivering a final presentation to leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Completion of or plans to complete 1 ASA exam by graduation.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 and willingness to work full duration.

Responsibilities

• Own components of project work with guidance from a mentor and manager.
• Conduct research, analyze data and develop recommendations for business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support initiatives that improve business outcomes and experience for members and clients.
• Deliver a final internship presentation to leadership covering project, results, and recommendations.
