Job summary

AIG is seeking an Analyst in the Actuarial Development Program to help analyze data, quantify risk, and support pricing and reserves for insurance products. You’ll work closely with Finance, Claims, Operations and Risk Management to develop critical skills through rotations and on-the-job learning.

Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in mathematics or statistics, and be pursuing actuarial examinations.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and apply actuarial techniques to quantify risk, price insurance products, and support loss reserving.
  • Assist with actuarial analyses, models, forecasts, and reports for business decisions.
  • Partner with experienced actuaries and cross-functional teams across Finance, Claims, Operations, Risk Management and other areas.
  • Monitor trends and evaluate data to identify insights and recommendations.
  • Communicate actuarial findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Progress through the Actuarial Development Program while advancing toward actuarial credentials.
