Job summary

Genworth’s Actuarial Development Program Analyst is a Summer 2027 hire in Richmond, VA. The program spans 18–30 months with rotations across product lines to build core actuarial skills and business acumen, including leadership development and project work.

Participants receive study time (up to 200 hours per six months), exam fee coverage, and salary increases for exams passed, with bonus for first-attempt success. Hybrid work and relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Must be graduating by Spring 2027 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics related field
At least one passed Society of Actuaries (SOA) Exam
Minimum GPA 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Aiming to attain a Fellowship designation
Demonstrated math and analytical skills
Previous internship experience, preferably within the insurance industry
Participation in team or individual case studies during undergrad
Strong oral and written communications
