Job summary

CVS Health’s Actuarial Development Program is a full-time, 4½ year program designed to turn entry-level actuarial students into future leaders. Rotations focus on risk assessment, rate filing, reserve analysis, and planning/forecasting to deliver business results.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with anticipated graduation by June 2027 and be willing to relocate to identified actuarial hubs. Hartford CT is among the locations; flexible hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Anticipated graduation date by June 2027.
  • Majors relevant to the position include Actuarial Science, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in four rotations to cover key actuarial areas such as Risk Assessment, Rate Filing, Reserve Analysis, Planning & Forecasting.
  • Pricing, Trend & Benefit Design: develop and recommend pricing and trend for products and services.
  • Technical Proficiency: develop tools and models, and translate business requirements into technical specs.
