Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, commensurate experience may substitute.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and MS Office.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to create/modify Excel, SAS and database applications.
• Basic actuarial concepts and data interpretation.
• Good planning, organization, and time management.
• Teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, calculate and report data for various actuarial purposes.
• Under supervision, apply technology and company data systems for analysis.
• Process data, determine reasonableness and provide initial analysis of output.
• Provide periodic reports to fulfill internal data requests per procedures.
• Recognize anomalies in data.
• Create/modify spreadsheets and programs and provide technical support by manipulating data sets.
