Job summary

Oliver Wyman seeks a consultant in its Property & Casualty Actuarial Insurance Practice. You will develop, validate, and operationalize actuarial models across pricing, reserving, and capital modeling while collaborating with colleagues globally.

You will work with actuaries, data scientists, and engineers to translate actuarial concepts into practical insights, contribute to AI-enabled workflows, and deliver client solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years actuarial experience; pursuing CAS with a minimum of 3 passed exams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and curiosity.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, SQL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Transformative Actuarial Solutions for complex insurance challenges.
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to develop insights for actuarial and strategic decisions.
• Execute actuarial analyses using established methodologies and models.
• Support client engagements by gathering requirements and communicating findings clearly.
• Collaborate with actuaries, engineers, data scientists to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure quality by validating data, calculations, models, and outputs.
• Contribute to actuarial innovation through tools, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Take ownership of deliverables and manage priorities within project teams.
