Job summary

HUB International seeks an Actuarial Consultant to support the national actuarial practice, lead or support actuarial work for employee‑benefits clients, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with specialty teams to deliver client solutions.

Responsibilities include acting as client lead for small and mid‑market clients, developing financial templates and models, performing experience reports and budget projections, and partnering with Health & Performance teams on cost‑containment strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Active ASA certification required.
• Ability to sign actuarial certifications and hold AAA credentials.
• 5+ years of employee benefits consulting experience.
• Experience with mid‑market to jumbo clients preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, VBA, Power Query, Power BI, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support actuarial work for employee-benefits clients.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with specialty teams.
• Deliver client solutions and strategic guidance.
• Develop financial templates, calculators, and models.
• Produce experience reports, budget projections, and reserve setting.
• Work with data analysis in Excel and HUB’s data warehouse.
