The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Manager for Actuarial and Analytics in the Inland Marine division. The role focuses on actuarial, analytic and business collaboration, delivering insights and strategic execution across pricing, reserving, and product management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related field or equivalent.
Associate Actuarial Credential is required or highly preferred.
Strong PC skills (MS Office) and programming experience (SQL, SAS).
4+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
Strong understanding of insurance products and industry.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in strategic initiatives and projects with actuarial, analytic and business partners.
Perform actuarial and analytic analyses to solve business problems with strong judgment.
Support and drive components of unit initiatives and enterprise-wide projects.
Communicate analysis and results to peers and business partners; prepare formal memos/presentations.
Mentor and develop talent; onboard new staff and interns; support recruiting efforts as needed.
