Job summary

Firma de Reclutamiento en PR is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support the evaluation and monitoring of the insurance portfolio. You will analyze reserves, pricing, profitability, and reinsurance results, applying actuarial and statistical methods to aid decision-making and regulatory reporting.

The role requires at least two years of actuarial experience in life, disability, annuities, or P&C, and proficiency in Excel and actuarial software.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
Minimum of two years actuarial experience in the insurance industry or equivalent with SOA/CAS progress.
Strong analytical skills and experience handling insurance portfolio data and actuarial modeling.
Proficiency in Excel and actuarial software such as RiskAgility FM, ResQ, R; SOA/CAS progress preferred.

Responsibilities

Calculate and analyze actuarial reserves across multiple insurance products.
Monitor loss experience, profitability, and KPIs for assigned lines.
Support product development, pricing reviews, and actuarial documentation.
Perform reinsurance calculations and analyze treaty performance.
Assist with profitability projections, audits, and statutory reserve certifications.
Provide actuarial analysis and data-driven support to cross-functional departments.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
