Job summary

State Farm offers a Life/Health Actuarial internship focused on real project work and skill development. Interns analyze risk, build pricing methods, and research trends in a collaborative, mentored environment.

Eligibility includes pursuing Actuarial science or related fields, GPA 3.25+, and progress toward ASA/FS A designation. The program runs 6/2/2027 to 8/11/2027 with a hybrid work arrangement and a $30/hour pay plus exam-based increases, plus a $2,000 stipend.

Qualifications

• Majors in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical fields
• GPA 3.25 minimum; 3.5 preferred
• Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
• Intent to earn the ASA/FSA designation
• Successful completion of at least one SOA actuarial exam
• Strong communication and analytical skills
