Qualifications

• Majors in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management or other analytical fields
• 3.5 GPA preferred; 3.25 minimum required
• Experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, R, and/or Python
• Intention to earn the ASA/FSA designation
• Successful completion of at least one Society of Actuaries actuarial exam
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, leadership, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Interns complete innovative and meaningful project work in a collaborative environment
• Provide analysis and solutions through assessment of risk and financial needs for insurance products
• Develop innovative methods and applications to enhance insurance product pricing
• Research on company and emerging industry trends and hot topics
• Extensive training programs, mentoring programs, and leadership opportunities as well as competitive compensation/benefits such as actuarial exam raises
