Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a mid-level Actuarial Analyst II to support the NSA data management and forecasting program. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather NSA data, validate inputs, and develop forecasts, reserves, and financial analyses for leadership review.

The role emphasizes strong data quality, process ownership, and clear communication of results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires strong mathematical and statistical analysis abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex data processes and issue resolution.

Responsabilités

• Support NSA actuarial workstream including forecasts, reserves, liability monitoring, profitability analyses, and financial impact assessments.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Operations, Legal, HNS and vendor teams to collect, validate, and interpret NSA data.
• Document NSA data sources, assumptions, methodologies, processes, and reporting definitions for auditability.
• Create recurring reporting packages showing NSA inventory trends, liability movements, and financial impacts.
