This role participates in the robust Actuarial Student Program as you advance through SOA exams. The position emphasizes learning actuarial principles, preparing summaries for management and regulators, and performing valuation updates while developing skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field is required.
2 or more actuarial exams to include Exam FM and P.

Responsibilities

Learns fundamental actuarial principles and applies them to analyze company data.
Prepares summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to management, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators.
Learns processes to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately.
Learns to use spreadsheets, databases, and data sources used in actuarial analyses.
Performs actuarial valuation updates to valuation models with new assumptions and data.
Prepares for and progresses in the SOA examinations through on-the-job and home study.
