Job summary

EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants seeks an Actuarial Analyst for Commercial P&C pricing. Build and validate pricing models, leverage AI, and deliver broker-ready outputs. Hybrid work in supported offices (NYC, SF, Seattle). 2+ years of actuarial pricing/modeling experience required; ACAS preferred.

You will work with a hands-on team to benchmark risk, influence placement decisions, and support renewal strategies for clients. Strong data skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of actuarial work with property pricing or modeling.
• Bachelor’s in actuarial science, math, stats, or another quantitative field.
• ACAS is preferred; non-credentialed candidates considered with property modeling experience.
• Strong Excel and at least one of Python, R, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and maintain actuarial models for property pricing (CAT and non‑CAT).
• Turn model output into client-ready narratives and broker-ready benchmarks.
• Collaborate with a dispersed team of actuaries to inform pricing decisions.
• Leverage AI tools for data cleanup, first‑pass code, and drafting client narratives.
• Document models so they are auditable and transferable within the team.
