Job summary

Daymark Recovery Services in Jefferson, NC, seeks a clinician to provide, oversee, and administer a wide range of psychosocial evaluation, assessment, counseling, therapy, and crisis intervention in a clinical, community-based setting. In coordination with ACT team members, the role requires independent decision-making and strong collaborative skills, along with case management responsibilities.

An associate's or bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and at least two

Qualifications

• Requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field with at least two years of experience.
• Provides, oversees, and administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling, therapy, crisis intervention services.
• Engages in case management/supportive services as a core function in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapy and accompanying documentation.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case support activities.
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to team members.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Pay Scale:

QP:$23.07/hr.-$24.04/hr.

Summary:

In coordination and conjunction with the ACT team members, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling, therapy, crisis intervention services in a clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making as well as coordinated interdisciplinary team work. Most aspects of this job require clinical assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills to persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses that are treated with individual and/or family interventions in a community based setting. Case management/supportive services are also a core function of this job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides individual, group and family therapy and subsequent paperwork.
• Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning, case support activities
• Provides crisis intervention consultation to all members of the team
• Participates in peer review process for therapists
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience:

An associate's orbachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling or other field and at least two years of experience with the population served.
