Job summary

Meadowbrook Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced full-time Activity Aide to perform activity functions as assigned; must be able to work a flexible schedule; weekends and evenings required. The Activity Aide will be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties.

You should have strong communication skills, a solid attendance history, and compassion for residents.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience as activity assistant is required.
• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions.
• Assist with organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being.
• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and families.
• Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities.
• Interact with families and visitors of our residents.
