Job Summary

Plans, organizes, and completes all activity therapy programming, from assessment and treatment planning to implementation, evaluation, and discharge planning, as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients within 72 hours of admission to interpret the reason for admission, strengths, and weaknesses in areas such as cognitive abilities, socialization, leisure skills, motor development, and physical/mental condition.
• Demonstrate competency in writing therapeutic interventions directly related to the patient's reason for admission.
• Ensure therapies are age-appropriate, aligned with the patient's level of growth, development, and functioning, and consistent with overall treatment goals.

Qualifications
