Butler Hospital in Providence, RI seeks an Activity Therapist/Mental Health Worker to collaborate with unit staff and the inter-disciplinary team to implement groups and activities for patients in the hospital milieu. The role supports educational, recreational, and social needs under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, experience with mentally ill clients, and strong communication skills.

This unit will focus on providing specialized treatment for our patients with unique and complex needs. In addition to patients with psychotic and mood disorders, patients treated on this unit will include those with severe behavioral disturbances and patients who are intellectually and developmentally disabled
