Target Salary Range*:$106,500-$107,000

Position Overview

The Activity Security Representative’s primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to the customer’s facility and organization. The position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Document and Information Control

• Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
• Assist in maintaining a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
• Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
• Perform destruction of classified materials.
• Process magnetic media for accountability.
• Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
• Maintain daily logs for various administrative functions associated with document control.
• Assist in processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
• Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.

Visitor and Facility Security

• Maintain an extensive customer database point-of-contact listing.
• Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
• Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
• Assist in preparing facility access control badges.
• Conduct entry and exit inspections.
• Assist in maintaining facility access control entry systems, including visitor control.
• Perform data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
• Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.

Security Operations and Administrative Support

• Follow and enforce the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide support for security awareness and education programs.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or Senior Security Representative.

Qualifications

Experience

• 3-5 years of related experience [Required].
• Special Access Program (SAP) experience [Required].
• A Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
• An Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years.
• One year of experience is credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years.

Education

• An Associate’s degree in a related area may count as two years of experience.

Clearance

• TS/SCI clearance [Required].
• Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly [Required].
