Responsibilities

• Document Control and Classified Materials: classification reviews, maintain document accountability database, process classified mail, destruction of materials, assist with file logs.
• Data Transfer and Information Management: process inbound/outbound data, transfer files to internal customers, maintain contact listings, data entry in access system, manage billets and quotas.
• Visitor and Facility Security: process visit notices, escort visitors, prepare badges, conduct inspections, maintain access control systems.
• Personnel Security: maintain security files for personnel, support security awareness programs.
• Security Operations and Administrative Support: follow SOPs, provide general admin support as directed by site lead.

Position Overview

The Activity Security Representative II provides multi-disciplined security support to the customer’s facility and organization, including day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control and Classified Materials

• Conduct classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
• Assist with maintaining a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
• Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
• Perform destruction of classified materials.
• Process magnetic media for accountability.
• Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
• Maintain daily logs for administrative functions associated with document control.

Data Transfer and Information Management

• Assist with processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
• Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.
• Maintain an extensive customer database point-of-contact listing.
• Perform data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database.
• Maintain customer-sponsored billets and quota information.

Visitor and Facility Security

• Research, process, file, and maintain inbound and outbound visit notices.
• Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
• Assist with preparing facility access control badges.
• Conduct entry and exit inspections.
• Assist with maintaining facility access control entry systems, including visitor control.

Personnel Security

• Assist with maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.
• Provide support for security awareness and education programs.

Security Operations and Administrative Support

• Follow and enforce the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or Senior Security Representative.

Qualifications

Experience

• 3–5 years of related experience [Required].
• SAP experience [Required].
• A Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
• An Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years.
• One year of experience is credited for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years.

Education

Clearance
