Job summary

Maria Joseph Living Care Center in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Part-Time Activities Aide to create a fun, engaging and meaningful environment for residents. You will help plan daily activities, lead games, crafts, exercise groups, and special events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and improving quality of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in activities, recreation, customer service, healthcare, or senior care is a plus but not required.
• Friendly, compassionate, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting daily resident activities

• Encourage resident participation and social interaction
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed
• Develop positive relationships with residents and families
• Assist with decorating for holidays and facility events

• Document resident attendance and participation
• Support residents' emotional, social, and recreational well-being
