Job summary

Abercorn Rehabilitation Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an Activities Director to lead an ongoing program of activities for residents across short-term rehab, sub-acute, and long-term care. This role focuses on physical, mental and psychosocial well-being, with collaboration from leadership and HR to promote growth and teamwork.

You will meet our Administrator to discuss career goals, tour the facility, and engage with leaders who champion your success, while exploring benefits and incentives

Qualifications

• Two (2+) years of social or recreational program experience within the last five years (one of which must have been full-time in a residential activities program in a health care setting)
• Completion of a state approved Therapeutic or Recreational Activities training program
• Must qualify as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is preferred
