Job summary

Briarcliff Health Center Of Greenville seeks an Activity Director to design and lead activity/leisure programs for residents in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on meeting social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs as part of the resident care plan.

Ideal candidates have prior experience in long-term care activity programs, with at least one year as an Activity Director and two years in related social/recreational program planning within five years.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an Activity Director in long-term care preferred.
• Two years of experience conducting social/recreational programs in the past five years, including full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting.
• Completion of a state approved Activity Director training course.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement activity/leisure programs meeting residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs.
• Align programs with the comprehensive resident care plan and care team goals.
