Job summary

Briarcliff Health Center in Greenville, TX is seeking an experienced Activity Director to design and oversee engaging programs for residents, aligned with each care plan. You will plan, organize, and lead social, spiritual, intellectual, and physical activities to meet diverse resident needs while collaborating with care teams.

The role requires current accreditation as a Certified Activity Director with state-approved training; 1 year in long-term care as an Activity Director is preferred, plus

Qualifications

• Accreditation as a Certified Activity Director; completion of state-approved Activity Director training.
• One year of experience as an Activity Director in long-term care preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred conducting social/recreational programs within the past five years, one of which was fulltime in a resident activities program in a health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement activity/leisure programs to meet residents' social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
