Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must complete a state-approved training program within nine months of employment.
• Options include licensed recreational therapist or eligibility for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist; two years of experience in adult recreation/activities in the last five years; licensed OT or OTA; CAP; or completing the basic activity course before Aug 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of the activities program.
• Contribute to and direct the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches individualized to residents.
