Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Cheektowaga, NY, is seeking an energetic Activity Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will design engaging programs, supervise staff, and ensure quality activities for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field with one-year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Associate degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field with related work experience.
• 3-5 years full-time experience working with adult recreation.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the Activity Program
• Supervise, develop, and schedule all activity staff to include drivers and activity assistants according to PSL policies, procedures, and standards
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate Activity department supplies
• Ensure that activity rooms/areas are prepared for daily activity programming
• Manages the PSL Discovery Tool (Social History and Assessment), including completing monthly activity calendar, and all move in actions related to activities for all residents

Salary: $62,500-$63,500 annually – based on experience

Activities Director Responsibilities:
