We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional who can lead our activities program and develop innovative and diverse activities that cater to our residents' interests and needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive activity program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
• Recruit and supervise activity staff, volunteers, and interns to support program implementation
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address resident needs, goals, and preferences
• Design and lead activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and entertainment, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, outings, and therapy programs
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies related to activities and social services
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activity participation, program evaluations, and resident feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 0 years of experience in activity direction or a related field
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population, including seniors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for activity programs in long-term care settings
