Job summary

As a part of the team, you’ll develop therapeutic recreation programs, lead activities, and document care plans while collaborating with families and the interdisciplinary staff to meet diverse resident needs.

Qualifications

• CTRS, MMT, or AT credential required or preferred.
• RAC certification and good standing required if not CTRS/MMT/AT.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; positive, dependable, team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs tailored to resident needs.
• Facilitate individual and group activities across varied functional levels.
• Complete assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation.
• Coordinate special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families.
• Support residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs.
