Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Activity Director to plan, organize, develop, and oversee the Activity Department. The Activity Director will ensure that engaging activities are designed to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging group activities.
• Encourage resident participation and track attendance.
• Maintain and organize activity supplies.
• Assist with one-on-one activities and transport residents.
• Coordinate outings and special events.
• Collaborate with departments to provide patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and Residents’ Rights.

Requirements

• Completion of a 36-hour Activity Director’s course.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Activities Department within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
