HumanGood's Terraces of Los Gatos is hiring an Activity Coordinator SNF to plan and lead educational, entertaining and challenging activities for residents in the Skilled Nursing Facility.

This full-time role offers a Monday through Friday schedule 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications include 2+ years programming with older adults; state certification preferred; compensation of $26–$31 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct programming experience with older adults.
• 1–2 years experience in a geriatric setting, or equivalent.
• State certification for Activities Leader preferred for skilled nursing roles.

Responsibilities

Description

The Activity Coordinator SNF provides and promotes quality educational, entertaining and challenging activities, programs and outings for residents in the assigned level of care in an effort to enhance quality of life and resident satisfaction in support of the company’s mission, vision and core beliefs

This is a full-time position with benefits.

Pay starts at $26.00 - $31.00/hr., depending on experience.

Shift available: Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm (7.5 hours per day)

To be successful in the role, you would have:

Experience/Training –

• 2 or more years of direct programming experience with older adults
• 1 or 2 years of experience, preferably in a geriatric setting; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
• Two or more years of direct programming experience with older adults.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations –.

• State certification for Activities Leader required for Activity Coordinators working in Skilled Nursing (36-hour minimum, can be acquired after hire) preferred for those not working in Skilled Nursing.
