Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a per diem Activities Assistant to support the Connections program for residents. You will help plan and implement daily activities to promote leisure, safety, and well-being in the community.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 21+ years old with a valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid certification. Prior healthcare or service experience is preferred, and DailyPay is available for on-demand pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or service-related setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult is helpful.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, planning and implementing the Connections program for residents.
• Enter resident information in multiple systems and support activity department tasks.
• Help plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate the Connections activity program.

Role: Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.

Responsibilities

• Entering resident information in multiple systems
• Collecting resident profiles and assisting the activity department with other help as needed
• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, Or Other Related Field (Preferred)
• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license (Required)
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
