Job summary

Juniper Bucks is seeking a compassionate activity coordinator to join our Connections team. This full-time role focuses on creating and delivering daily activities that enhance leisure, physical, and emotional well-being for our residents in the personal care neighborhood.

Every other weekend availability is required. You will collaborate with Wellness Associates to plan, implement, and evaluate the Connections program, ensuring engaging, safe, and meaningful experiences for seniors in our

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher education; preferred Bachelor's in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology or related field.
• Experience in healthcare or service setting is preferred.
• Valid Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community.
• Collaborate with Wellness Associates for program implementation and resident engagement.

Role:

Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.


• Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related field (Preferred)


• Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting (Preferred)


• Clean Drivers license (Required)


• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
