Job summary

Haven Health Safford is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and to support the care team in daily activities. This full-time role is based in Safford, AZ.

You will follow resident assessments and care plans, work with licensed staff, and adhere to all nursing policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality care. Strong English communication and ability to move and assist residents are required.

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting Clearance Card required or eligible to obtain.
• Active CPR Certification.
• Background screening, licensure verification, reference check, drug testing.
• Tuberculosis testing.
• Employee health screening after hire.
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English.

Responsibilities

Description

The Nursing Assistant position works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing resident care to assigned residents in accordance with resident assessments, care plans and as directed by nursing management. The Nursing Assistant works with other licensed care staff to coordinate the proper types of care to residents and strictly follows all Company nursing policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines.
