Job summary

Blue Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation in Blue Springs, MO seeks an extroverted and adaptable Activity Assistant to energize residents and create meaningful experiences. You will support the Activity Director with daily programs, coordinate group activities, and engage residents through one-on-one visits and community events.

The role emphasizes a fun, flexible personality, weekend availability, and collaboration with a supportive team to enhance resident wellbeing and morale.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in long-term care or social activities (preferred).
• Activity Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support the Activity Director with daily programs and events that keep residents active, connected, and smiling.
• Help with group games, crafts, and fun activities.
• Conduct one-on-one visits with residents.
• Coordinate special events and community outings.
• Assist with volunteer coordination and calendars.
• Keep documentation up to date and maintain a positive atmosphere.
