Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness and knowledge of older adult care.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or service-related settings preferred.
  • Required fitness background.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing the Connections activity program.
  • Work closely with Wellness Associates in program implementation.

Skills

Knowledge of the physiology of older adults

Education

Role:
Assist in the creation, planning, and implementation of the Connections program — the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community.
Work closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or other related fields (Preferred)
Previous experience in healthcare or service-related settings (Preferred)
Fitness background (Required)
Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
