Job summary

Symphony Applewood is seeking an Activity Assistant to support a Life Enrichment program for residents, ensuring quality care and engagement in daily activities. Under the Life Enrichment Director, you will assist with social activities, lead sessions, and help maintain records in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities.
• Ability to work every other weekend as well as some holidays.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Activity Assistant is responsible with assisting to ensure compliance for a well-rounded Life Enrichment program that promotes the needs of the residents while complying with overall operation of the Recreation Therapy Department according to state and federal guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Assist our residents’ with activities to provide social communication, entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents.
