Imperial Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant for its Skilled Nursing Facility in New Jersey. The role involves planning and leading recreational activities to enhance residents' quality of life, with emphasis on engaging seniors and promoting participation.

This part-time position requires flexibility to work weekends and evenings, including every other weekend and some weekdays, and offers hourly compensation with potential for growth through a caring, team-oriented environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in activities, healthcare, recreation, or customer service preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Currently hiring for Part Time ;(Every other weekend1PM-9PM / Weekday 5PM-9PM )

Responsibilities:

• Assistwith planning and leading recreational, social, and group activities
• Encourage resident participation and social interaction
• Transport residents safely to and from activities
• Help with holiday events, themed programs, and decorations
• Observe resident engagement and report concerns to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment

Compensation

• Starts at $16.00 up to $17.00 / hour
