Job summary

Iris Cove Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Activity Assistant to plan and lead recreational activities that engage residents and enhance quality of life.

You’ll join a team that emphasizes growth, inclusive culture, and ongoing education, with onboarding and professional development, flexible pay options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with course work in recreation is preferred.
• Completion of a state approved activity-training course is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in leading recreational activities, arts/crafts, intellectual/educational activities, community outings, etc., preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recreational activities and arts/crafts sessions as part of weekly schedule.
• Coordinate intellectual/educational activities and community outings for residents.
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure resident engagement and safety.
